Blue Tang Fish Sculpture by Chris Turnier
This striking Blue Tang (aka Dory), with its intense blue and black pattern, is a common fish in the Indo Pacific, often swimming in large schools throughout the reef.
Chris carved this sculpture from 125-year-old solid white oak barn wood, from a barn in Tennessee, that he took down himself. It has been painted with fluorescent UV paint so it will glow under a black light or actinic aquarium lighting. This unique, handmade one-of-a-kind piece will make a perfect gift for the fish or reef aquarium lover in your life.
The back side of the sculpture shows the natural wood, and is signed by Chris and Kristine (she assisted with painting).
**Please note- The paint will only show fluorescent under black light or actinic aquarium lighting. The sculpture can be hung over a reef tank and the lighting from the tank will bring out the fluorescent colors.**
